Our Vision

Lending Hub is a privately owned business based in Sydney, Australia with a distinctly entrepreneurial and dynamic culture. Lending Hub’s vision is the create a dynamic online peer to peer platform for Australians to lend and borrow money in a safe and secure environment that complies with Australian corporate law and the Credit Code. We believe that to achieve this the Lending Hub platform will need to offer consumers (both borrower and lenders) the following key principles:

• A secure process using standards comparable to global and local banking peers
• Live and real-time data processing and credit scoring to enable an instant P2P experience
• Social and person to person interactivity to create a true online Social Lending Community
• Simple and useful tools and functionality for self-management of users’ accounts and loans

Lending Hub aims to offer a service that will surpass the current personal loan products distributed by the larger banks (that have a focus on a small subset of the borrowing population) whilst building a unique and new online community for Australians.

Our Team

The Lending Hub team that includes our two founding partners and our COO supported by a team of programmers and developers. Ivan Mantelli, CEO and Managing Director of Lending Hub, brings significant business establishment and strategic development skills to Lending Hub. Ivan experience includes investment banking roles with the Dutch bank ABN AMRO (with a focus on on mergers and acquisitions), a corporate strategy development position with one of Australia’s largest newspaper and digital media companies and corporate finance roles for boutique advisory firms. In addition Ivan brings his entrepreneurial knowledge of new business establishment from the first business that he set-up in 1998 and developed from scratch (a private education business originally based in Bondi Junction, Sydney).
